AC S7 Tachometer Installation. HELP NEEDED.
I have a 1995 honda accord. I have the AC S7 Tachometer and need help on how to install it. If anybody can give me decent directions, a guide/schematic or anything that would be any help at all that would be great. Thanks.

What do you need to know? Is this an external tach, or does this replace the tach in your gauge cluster?
The only wiring schematic on the accord side for the tachometer is the wire that has the tach signal to the gauge cluster. The tachometer you bought has to have some installation instructions?
I would download the 94 shop manual from the Online Manuals thread in the DIY Section.

It is an external not for the stock gauge cluster. it is a long story so I wont go into all the detail. I had my tranny rebuilt and alota my wires were messed up when I got my car back. I fixed everything except for the gauge. The problem is the gauge was on the car when I bought it 2 years ago, so I dont have instructions on how to hook it up. I could hook it to the headlights but i wana have it done properly, any advise or installation guides would really help me. Thanks.

yes the stock tach works, just the external one does not. I need the needle and lighting hooked up both do not got on. before the needle went on with my car turning on and the lights around it went on when i put on parking lights or headlights.

I don't know how many connections are on the external tachometer. I can tell you the wires from the accord.
The + for the gauge light is the red/blk wire (B8). Any ground should work for the -. I would use a bare metal bolt as my ground.
The tachometer signal is a blue wire (B12).
See the attached picture for the connector and pin locations.
