Drivers under dash fuse box. You will need to do a bit of testing on the pins to be sure you "jump" the right way.....one is hot at all times, one is hot with the key on, one has continuity to ground at all times.....then the 4th is just sitting there doing nothing.......hot at all times to the one doing nothing and there you go.

thinking of pulling the relay out, pull it apart and jump/solder the 12 v battery constant to the ign (or whatever contact goes "live" when the ign is turned on.... put the relay back together and reinstall.

Good thought. If I checked with a mulitmeter from the pin that is doing nothing (on the relay/at the fuse block) to the positive connector AT the power plug, continuity should tell me that thats the one to jump from the 12 v hot all the time.....
Lots of guys want to hardwire these power plugs so that they can charge devices while ign off, and this could be an easy way to do it... Will post results when I do it. wont be till the weekend...

Or you might be able to open up the relay....one side you should see the magnet (two pins- one gets "hot" with the key on and the other is ground at all times), on the other two, the "switch" side, you can solder them together or a wire betwen the two????

Anyway, let us know how it works out.
