Accord 1999, 4000 rpm idle, shifter whouldn't shift from parking (video)
After changing raptured cooling house(heater house under distributor),car starts and rev's 4000rpm,wouldn't shift from parking.
Before I discovered raptured cooling house I was thinking problem was water pump because owner told me he smelled rubber so I was thinking timing belt slipped, and I din't even try to start the car,so I took of alternator and power-steering pump to look at the timing belt but it was ok so I put everything back together.
Checked all vacuum houses ok ,fuses ok ,compression good, got air out of cooling system, gas cable ok choke is fully closed, there is no check engine light, have spare hacked computer tried it, nothing helps
Please help

The shift lock will prevent the car from being shifted out of Park if the throttle is open. The TPS will send a higher voltage signal to the PCM if the throttle is open, which in turn will prevent the shift lock solenoid from being energized to allow you to shift out of Park. Check to see why the throttle is open.
Did you purge all the air from the cooling system after the hose replacement?
