Default Air filters: Honda or ???

I just got a 2003 Accord with the 4-banger, and I'm looking to change the air filter. What is everyone else using? Are there any performance gains by going with one besides the stock Honda?

throttle response is really all your gonna (i say that like its a bad thing :P)get maybe 5-10 hp from an SRI or CAI. go wih K&N cause everyone knows them and theyve been around since the dawn of time. Your also gonna gain a georgeous sound anytime when the engine isnt off.

if you decide to go with the full cold air intake versus the short ram,, make sure to install the valve to keep water from entering the engine and hydralocking it , should you go through some high water

if you want to go with a regular air filter than any brands will do ..

K&N are nice and I wouldn't dog on AEM either, most aftermarket airfilters are comprable.... I'd just go on e-bay and get a short ram intake and buy a K&N air filter for it.... good throttle response, some power gains and a sweet deep sound at WOT

I use paper filters from napa or whoever has it on sale when I need it.... I removed some of the restrictions from the stock intake and I am quite happy.
