Any HOW TOs for front pads/ rotors for 2002 accord 4cyl
Can someone go through the steps of replacing (FRONT only) pads and rotors for 2002 accord 4cyl??
Dealer wants $390 for the entire job.
I found some BECK ARNLEY replacement pads and rotors in autopartswarehouse. About $120 total.
If I can change pads on my own F150, can I change pads and rotors for my wife's accord?
Is there anything special to be concerned with doing this job on a 2002 Honda accord 4 cyl?
I have the tools needed, that's not an issue.
Let me know if you get a chance?
This place is very helpful, I've been here beforeforDIY tips for my wife's car.
Gotta love the internet.
Thanks, greg NHFORD

i would buy a haynes manual. you should be set. I dont beleive those rotors are pressed on, like the older ones.
wtf is beck arnley? sounds like a sh*tty golf club I might use.

You'll need an -
Impact driver
BFH (big fawkin hammer)
17, and 18mm sockets and ratchet
C-clamp
Torch (for rotor screws if necessary)
Grease - Personally I use transmission assembly lube.
Antiseize
PB Blaster or similar lubricant/rust preventer
Typical job, remove wheel, I just unbolt the whole caliper bracket and caliper as one unit, saves some time. You can also do them one at a time if you wish. Remove the pads. Use the impact driver to remove the rotor screws (they are a PITA) so don't give up as it does take some time if they're rusted in there pretty good. This is when the torch, pb blaster, and BFH help a lot.
Re-assembly is pretty self explanatory. If the rotor screws are still usable put some antiseize on the threads and just hand tighten them with a screwdriver. Push the piston back in the caliper with the c-clamp, install pads, bolt everything up.
