Anyone cut their own fuel pump access?

hummm I wonder if this will work for my cb7 since I too have to drop my tank to get to my fuel pump??????

Mike what does the after math look like when you installed the pump? Did you clean it up any or just leave it as is in the pic?

Guys, sorry I never responded to these questions. A couple weeks went by with no comments and since I don't get on this forum I never saw the other questions until now. I am not sure about clearance for a 90 degree bend, I think it's doable. My Honda is still kicking so I just took a picture of the aftermath nearly 2 years later for g22cd2. The tank itself blocks the winter snow and salt I think, there's no rust coloration on the sealant. The brown is from rubbing the trunk liner.

Yes, I cut a C shape, peeled it back and then bent it back over. It lined up well.
