Some genius tells me it would help to clean those.. The condenser is on or in the radiator, right? Where is the evaporator?

Thanks!!

PS: While I'm at it, anyone know where the a/c drain is? I suppose I had better clean that, too.

I also read on this one page "The Honda systems were never overpowering like GM or Ford built but you might check for cloggage of the evaporator or fan. Leaves go under the cowl, then since there's no cabin air filter, they get mulched by the fan and caked in the evaporator."

So does this mean the evaporator is close to the blower or close to the engine fans?
Sorry if that is a stupid question!!

Condenser is out front, at the radiator. Look for rotted leaves & bugs blocking air flow through the condenser (and/or through the radiator). Garden hose shooting from inside the engine compartment might work.

Evaporator is buried in the dash. If you remove the blower motor (above passenger footwell), you might be able to clean the face of the evaporator.

Is it important to clean the evaporator at all?

Over time "things" can and do get down there.

If the AC is cooling fine and the air flow is fine......I'd get to it when you can but don't worry too much with it.

A/C evaporator is where the cooling of the air takes place, and during this cooling moisture comes out of the air as water
leaving the evaporator always wet or damp. Mold goes there.

If you clean it out please post back up about it, or PM me, on how etc., because I'm sure I need to clean mine.
I sprayed lysol into entrance vents to kill ongoing mold growth, but that doesn't remove what's already there.

appreciate it ...
