I swear right after I got the car in a Reddit thread I was reading about people recommending not to get aftermarket alarm systems because they sometimes cause problems later in the future. I shoulda listened but at least I know now for future

I kinda want to see even if this isn’t the issue that’s blowing my fuse, if there’s a way I myself can uninstall the aftermarket alarm system, or is this something the dealership would have to take out?

It looks like that is a GPS system, so it may or may not have remote start or other security features. Look at the wires going to that control unit, trace each wire. Let us know how many wires are connected to the factory wiring. There has to be a power and ground. Also let us know what wire color on the accord harness was connected.

If that control unit has an electrical connector to it, just try unplugging it to see if the fuse stops blowing. If not, then trace the ground wire and disconnect it. The ground should be connected to something with bare metal under the dash.

awesome I’ll check that out as soon as I can check. I don’t remember it ever having a remote start it was mainly in case my car got stolen that it would dial 911 and I’d be able to track the car essentially. Thank you for your help I’m hoping that this is an easy issue to fix
