Bad Brake Light - Clicking Under Shifter
I have an automatic, 4 cylinder, 94 Accord.
The brake lamp light came on, so I checked the lights, and as expected, the passenger side brake light is out. This is fairly straightforward so far, but I noticed this clicking noise under the shifter/in the console but only when the car is in park and I press the brake pedal.
I understand that the bulb needs to be replaced, but does that clicking noise signify anything, or is this usual when a light is out?

RE: Bad Brake Light - Clicking Under Shifter
it may just be the brake selenoid that releases the shifter clicking on/off so to speak... It could just be getting old or perhaps you've just never heard it before...
