Default battery connected backwards/reversed

1990 accord... kids reversed battery cables tried to start and blew main fuse. After correction of battery terminals.. the car turns over but will not start..What else did they screw up? What do I need to check? I don't know alot about these cars but am pretty handy with a wrench. Thanks for your help in advance.
Thanks
Jeff......................................by the way, this is my first post !!

Check for spark and fuel. Let's find out which one you're missing. If you have an old spark plug just pop a wire off one of the plugs, place the plug in the wire and set it on top of the motor, turn it over and see if it sparks, as for fuel, when you first turn on the key listen for the fuel pump to pressurize.
