Default Best value in o2 sensor for 04 2.4L

Hi All
Oxygen sensors can get pretty pricey, over $400 for both here in Canada from the Honda dealer anyway. I have 160K kms on the car with a black sooty exhaust pipe, the sensors could still even be original for all I know, so this might be an issue for me. If they were cheap, I would simply throw some new plugs and sensors in, but thats over $500.

I see some cheaper ones on the web for my 04 Accord 2.4L, what are the best values?

Thanks

Default 02 sensors for 04 2.4L

Oops, in case this question is getting me into a problem area by asking for recommending one vendor over another, even general info is appreciated. Thanks

Best thing is to stay with OEM...web search 'denso oxygen sensor'.
Then you can look thru 89,200 listings

I have a 2003 Honda Accord 4 cyl with 213,000 miles. I just had my rear sensor done a few weeks ago for US$275 installed. It was only US$175 for the front sensor about 2 years ago.

I would probably go with Denso, since I think they make Honda's sensors. Car companies don't actually manufacture all the sensors themselves.

If you're up to a little wire splicing, the universal O2 sensors sold on Ebay are OK by me. I've used several w/o any problems. One or two I purchased for $25 + shipping.

However, I would also say the OEM Denso units are fine parts.

Shipping and import costs to Canada might affect this option. If import duties are steep and same for this part, there may be less savings.

good luck
