Brake caliper pin's are diffrent which goes where?
Hi, I noticed that there are two different caliper slide pins on each caliper, I was wondering if it mattered where they went upper or lower, One seems to be all metal and the other has like a plastic end on it.
Thanks

looks like the pin with the plastic end on it is the top one. just did this job myself, but only pulled one out at a time to relube. really not sure why honda did this but hey...ours is not to wonder why...let me know if you want an exploded view diagram.
evidently it's pretty important to get them correct. honda says:
NOTE: Make sure that the caliper pins are installed correctly. The upper and lower caliper pins are different. If the caliper pins are installed in the wrong location, it will cause uneven tire wear, vibration, and or uneven or rapid pad wear.

If you could post me a shot would be great, I have had the car since new and I have always meant to ask this for years and always forget, I am getting ready to do brakes again so I figured I d ask,I have no idea how I put them in last time.

They are different on the rear. Hard to tell, but looks like the lower one has flats on the shaft where the top one is round??
And... seems silly but after you create your signature, you have to go to another settings page in USER-CP to find a check-box that says "display" the signature!
