Question brake pedal switch/shifter assembly replaced but.....

So on my last thread my 1991 honda accord ex after a rainy night wouldnt shift out of park. So i had my mechanic replace the brake pedal switch/and shift assemby in the car but my car still gives me the "S" mode light and still only have 2nd/3rd gear. I check the numbers on my TCU and the numbers indicate that it is the modified version of the older pxo 732-733 TCU(the one in the car is a PXO 932-933). Did the mechanic have to reset the Computer after doing work? or should i start looking at the shift solenoids on the tranny?
Anyone

Did replacing the TCU get the car to shift out of park?

Did you try checking for TCU codes on this TCU?

nope we replaced the brake switch and the switch thats located in the center console(interlock switch maybe?).
thinking of just bring it to honda, but whats puzzling is that the S light flickers when i first start it up then only comes on again when im at a light with the brake pedal pressed and as soon as i let the brake go it turns off.
