Brake upgrade
Hey has anyone upgraded their 2015 accord's breaks? I am curious as to how big of rotors i can go?? I would love to hear from people, i go through breaks to often so i want to upgrade to a better rotor/pad. It is a touring so it has the 18" rim's and i would be doing both front and rear. I am not opposed to changing the calipers either as a bigger rotor would need that. Any info helps. Thanks guys.

So, what kind of a break are you talking about, breakfast, a cigarette break, a lunch break? Oh, you mean a BRAKE upgrade.
Fact, all else being equal, bigger brakes will not improve your stopping distance; if you want to improve your braking, buy wider tires with a stickier tread compound.

Ok smart *** auto correct lesson....
I'm not looking for better braking power or distance. I want better lasting brakes, that don't seize up or require constant care. My pilot's brakes last longer and it's heavier. They don't go through pads like the accord.

Sorry, like I wrote earlier, unless you make other changes, bigger brakes will not yield the results you're looking for.

And what on earth make you think a big brake kit will not suffer from the same issues?
