Breaking problem
Hi,
I've an 2005 Accord Executive diesel 2.2, with 65.000 kilometers at this poin. Since the beginning that i've noticed a fast rear brake pad consuptions, I've changed 6 times the back pads and only 2 times the front pads since I've the car. km.The car has changed rear pads ever 10.000 km.
The dealer changed the pads 1st and 2nd time (8.000 km ant 18.000 km) with no charge to me, at the 3rd time they changed the intire back breaking system, but the problem subsists.
Can anyone help me and explain me why the back pads end much faster than the frond pads ? Does anyone have notice of similar problems ?
Thanks on advance,
MRT

RE: Breaking problem
I have heard that this is due to the Electronic Brake Distribution, that vehicles with that feature tend to eat the rears rather quickly. Does anyone know if that can be adjusted? It sounds as if you're getting to much stopping power sent to the back...
I beleive I have heard as well that the rear rotors are undersized on the vehicle as well, which would also contribute...
