Buying 2003 Accord EX-L Advise Needed

The 2003 Accord doesn't have a timing belt, it has a chain.......US models. Contact Honda customer service about the radio light, it's a common issue and they will replace the entire radio/CD player with a reman one at little to no charge.

I was going to mentionthe chain/belt too, but I think the V-6 still has a belt.

LED backlight is an easy fix. honda should take care of that through goodwill. known problem.

however, i would use it as an issue to knock the price of the car down. would cost about 800$ us to fix, so if the seller doesnt know this...
if there is a tutorial on how to remove the radio please let me know, im an electronics engineer so i am sure i can fix it.

you are correct,, v6s still has a timing belt ,, and like rtex said 2003 acc is first year they went to timing chain on the I4
