Buzzing Sound
Hi, newbie here. I just purchased a new 2007 Accord EX-L coupe and have had it since Friday 08/17. The past couple of days I have noticed a low short buzz sound (almost like "mmmmmmm" and only lasts about 3 seconds) after I have started the car and begin to drive.
This sound appears to be coming from the front passenger side and only happens when the car has been sitting a couple of hours.
Should I be concerned an take it back to the dealer?
Thanks

RE: Buzzing Sound
I'm not 100% certain on the 07's but I believe the answer is yes. My 94 does it every time it's been sitting, if it is a concern though I would call the dealership and ask them (even if you know the answer) that way if a problem ever arises in the future you have some documentation about it (make note of the call)

RE: Buzzing Sound
I think it's not normal. Sometime before '98 they started using a system that does not have a pressurized accumulator.
My '98 and my '03 ABS systems don't make any of that sort of noise. I had a '95 Integra with the same ABS system as the '94 Accord, so I know what it sounds like pumping itself up.
Ndorfin...
Can you make the sound happen without driving the car? If so, have someone start it while you poke around under the hood. Pinpoint the location of the sound as best you can.
And make sure you tell us whether it's a V-6 or 4-cyl; manual or auto tranny.
