A/C blower fan buzzing
Hello everyone,
This is my first post here and i hope that you guys can help me out with my problem. Yesterday the blower fan for my 98 honda accord started buzzing. the air conditioner still blows air and everything works fine (ie diff speeds and cooling) but the fan makes the buzzing sound. I disconnected the power to the fan and the sound stoped so it definately is coming from either the fan or fan motor. Also if you increase the speed of the fan or a/c the sound does not change pitch so this leads me to think its the motor either being filled with dust or nearing the end of its life. Have any of you guys experienced this? Should i go about trying to take out the glove box and such to see wats wrong or am i just better off takin it straight to my honda dealer.
I appreciate the help.
thanks

RE: A/C blower fan buzzing
you wont see anything by removing the glove box
drop the motor and see if anything is in it ,, should be pretty easy to do.........disconnect the plug, remove the 3 screws that bolt it on,, the motor should drop , motor is located under the right side of dash ....
