The first shop was upfront and said it was over their head when their repair didnt work and recommended I take it to the Honda Shop , however the Honda shop didnt seem to know what was up either and wanted 600.00 to begin a repair with a used part that they couldnt guarantee would fix the problem. And my son had to get on the road and didnt need the a/c in the winter in Ga. anyhow.
I will check out your suggestions also as soon as I get the car back and let you know.

actually , We purchased and had a new.... (I think its called a) computer control head. or temp. control assembly installed and it is working great!!! finally . If thats not the actual name of the part let me know and I'll go look it up if any one needs to know. Sorry I never got back to ya'll, a lot of unexpected life kept dumping on me.
