Cabin Air Filter, How Do I Change It????

Default Cabin Air Filter, How Do I Change It????

2000 Accord 4dr LX. I want to change my cabin air filter. I know it's behind the glove box but what exactly do I need todo to get it out?? Hows the glovebox come out? Thanks, Joe.

you have to remove glove box and support bar. once you do that, remove clips holding plastic case together. after that, remove both filters and use a shop vac to clean up the mess.

The support bar really sucked in my car. The screws were really way too tight and even with an appropriately sized screw driver I about stripped both. I eventually took a pair of vice grips and loosened 'em up that way.

Yep, i've broken many a phillips bits on those.
