Can u eleminate the ac compressor in a 97 accord?
I have a manual 97 accord and whenever i start the car it has a very loud squeek that takes a while to go away also if i have the air on while i am driving and i push in the clutch it will continuously squeek and i have to shut off air to make sqeeking stop i have recently replaced the power steering pump and my alternator and both belts so i have narrowed it down to the bairings in the ac compressor. I dont have alot of money to spend on the car and just need it to get from point a to b. I was wondering if there was any way to get some type of mount with a pully on it and just eleminate the ac compressor. Is this possible and if so where would i be able to find such a mount?

Another option, if the squeak is from the compressor and not the compressor-clutch, is to just unplug the electrical connection going to the compressor.
There are compressor-removal-pulleys as you suggest...at least for some years of Accords. Just Google "Accord A/C Compressor By-Pass Pulley."
2Rice's solution sounds great, too. I expect it might not work on all model years.

Do u have to remove power sorce to ac compressor if u are running a w/o ac belt?
My ac compressors frount bearings are blown out and i am not going to pay the 600$ for a new one so i am just going to run a w/o ac belt straight from the alternator to the crankshaft. I am not planning on removing the ac compressor at this time because it will not be in the way. So do i have to remove power to it or should i leave the power hooked up?

Shouldn't matter, but it's pretty easy to unplug the compressor. That way you don't mistakenly turn on your AC.
Your car might switch ON the AC whenever you select the defrost position. That's another reason to unplug the wire from the AC compressor clutch.
I'll move this into your other thread...
