Angry Car Battery Stolen

Came out to my car this morning only to find that the car's battery is stolen some time late last night while I was asleep. I'm not sure if anything else was stolen but wanted to see if you guys can see if something else is missing. I took some pics. My car is the 2000 LX Accord.

From the pictures, it looks likes only the battery and possibly one of the hold-down bolt and nut (not sure which one based on the pictures).

Also, it looks like the car doesn't have ABS, which wouldn't have been stolen though looking like that.

hey, everything seems good besides the battery...
what about in the cabin, you lose anything in there, i hate when people break into cars!

also hows your a/c been working lately??? looks as if you may have a leak, at the port right behind the battery box... either that or something spilled there, its possible the pressure slide "or whatever you call it" within may be loose or going on you although rare.

looks like they didn't break inside the car since i didn't see anything missing there. i think they just popped the hood and took the battery. is it possible to open the hood without pulling on the switch thing inside the car? im not sure if i have a leak or not but recently the reserve tank for the radiator keeps going down a lot faster than before. may be every 2-3 weeks i have to put water in there.

edit: actually, i just notice something else missing in the cabin. the place where you put coins is gone. so the thief or thieves did break into the car...

there is a small chance of opening the hood by puling the metal line going to the cabin pop lever, but thats not the easiest. time to invet in an alarm...

my accord eats coolant when i have the **** all the way to hot, are you using actual water or using coolant, if you use water it will evaperate when it gets hot, and you will have to keep filling it, let it get low and use 50/50 coolant, should help if your using water, turn on the heat all the way to hot, and you should smell coolant if you need a new heater core, also it may fogg your windshield, shouldnt be bad cause your car is newer but you never know, if your using coolant and the core is good check under the oil cap look for a milky substance, but thats a worst case scenario.

ooh, that the little door to the eft of the steering wheel? you can hit up a junk yard and pick it up, autozone has used batteries w/ warranties, pretty cheap you can probably pull off a battery and alarm for under $100, i paid $50 for the alarm, and $25 for the battery where i am so..

it seems that someone may have the same car and is using yours for parts...

yeah probably. i am using water and i guess the evaporation makes sense. i live in california and it's been warm. all the gauges aren't showing anything wrong with the car so i think it's ok. i also recently brought it to the shop and they didn't find anything wrong with it. i dont know why they had to take the coin holder thing too. i probably had like $15 worth of quarters and dimes in there. i had some pennies but they didn't take those lol.

i found where they broke into the car. took some pics.

A while back I got my car broken into. It took me 2 days to find out how they did it because when I came out to the car it was locked and there was nothing broken. I figured they slim jimmed it, but then I noticed my window was popped out at the top. Apparently they took a screwdriver and wedged it up to the top of the driver side window and popped it out of the frame. That way they could bend it out and reach the lock ****

They destroyed my ignition with a screwdriver (2 months after I replaced my burnt out ignition switch) and opened my glovebox so violently that now it opens a few inches farther than it should. They took a real nice LED flashlight and the damn radio code cards, got one of my good knives, my little emergency repair kit and jumper cables out of the trunk. They also got my Cobra radar detector. On the first night I ever forgot to bring it inside with me

I'm hoping to find a good alarm this summer because recently someone tried to steal one of my tires. Only got half way off before they ditched it, I noticed the center cap was gone, but figured some jackass just stole that alone (it's happened before) but then started hearing a WHOMPWHOMPWHOMP when I'd turn left on a winding road. By that time the loose lug nuts had worked their way to 3/4 off. Lucky I checked them when I did, if I'd lost a wheel on that road it would not have ended well for me!
