So the noise has been back for a while and I had it checked when I had the oil changed. You guys were right on point - lower ball joint is in bad shape.
My question is: When I replace the lower ball joint, should I replace the lower control arm as well?
Also, I plan to rent a ball joint press to get the job done. Do I need to remove the knuckle or can I get by with leaving it on?
