Default Car will not run good if not warmed up????

I got a 97 accord se, 122k, automatic. The car drives like new after warmed up. Still strong lots of power. The only problem is when its been sitting and its cold it bogs and shakes a lil bit like its going to die out sometimes. This only happens when its cold. It does this for about 1-2 mins. After this it drives like a dream. If i were to back out of my driveway and drive it without letting it warm up. As soon as i would try n accelerate it would bog and back fire. I would not even be able to go, I'd have to pull over and let it worm up. Ive had this done. Air filter, fuel filter, tried the techron fuel system cleaner. Just wanted to see if someone had an accord with this problem. Any input at all would help.

Are the maintenance items up to date like the spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, and air filter? Clean the throttle body and both side of the throttle plate with some TB cleaner.

Does the check engine light or the D4 light start flashing? Parts stores like autozone can read codes from the connector behind the ash tray.

Have you cleaned out the EGR ports? Hondadude has a DIY writeup about doing that.

Hello PAhonda,
I changed the spark plugs 4 months ago, and the air filter too. Changed motor oil 40 miles ago, and also transmission fluid. cleaned shift solenoids, . Have not checked the distributor cap nor rotor. the check engine light is not on nor any lights flashing, everything on the dash looks normal. thanks

Default Took it to the shop

Hey guys this is an update about the issue that I had with my honda. So I took it to the shop and they checked it out it. They said that is was the ECT engine coolant temperature sensor, they are charging me 75 dollars part & labor. Hopefully that fixes my issue.
