that's the distributor order, the firing order for cylinders is straight 1234 from the timing belt side.... let us know if that's the issue

 

i got it working now sir nasty thank you very much the whole time i had the wires mixed up. i will definately come back here if i have more problems thank you all very much.

ohyea and starts up faster then my brothers 2001 prelude and he has never had problem with that car.Weird thing is my temperatur gauge was going to H and hung up there until i turned it off, im sure its off cause before it would go to the H then back to the middle and kept doing that.

 

That could be a sensor problem or an issue with the thermostat.... did you put a new thermostat in? do the fans kick on properly?

 

where is the thermostat? and also for the futur wheres the starter and alternator? pics would be more helpful

 

If you're standing in front of the car facing it. put your hands on the front area where the front of the hood resets just between the headlights and lookdown. You'll see the radiator. The hose by your left hand that comes off the top of the radiator goes back to the engine. That area where it goes into the engine houses the thermostat. The alternator is going to be on the far right hand side of the motor and have a battery cable running directly to it. It's round and connects to the main belt. Looks like a small version of your A/C compressor except the A/C will have a couple of lines running to it where as the alternator only has wires. The starter: left hand side of the motor. Follow your positive battery wire from the battery straight down and it connects directly to the starter. Sorry I don't have pictures at the moment..
