Default Catylic Convertor cover.

Following my recent topic re-CAT cleaners but totally unconnected. I heard a rattle from uneder the car and it turned out to be the CAT heat shield was loose, I put wire around it & it seems OK again. Questions are: will this affect the CAT's life? Can you buy a CAT cover (heat shield).

TIA

It should be fine. But you can buy both covers if you want.
