I am a new member and searched for this answer, but only found questions.

I have a 1995 accord wagon. The remote key has worked, but stopped. I replaced the batteries, and that alone did not fix it. Then I tried a programming sequence I found on line, cycling 4 times of turning key to position 2, pressing the off button, turning the key off. do that 4 times, and the key fob should be programmed. It still does not work. I have doubled checked that the batteries are in correctly, and that they are the correct battery.

ANy thoughts?

On a 94 Accord which may have same remote, the switch connection to the circuit board failed due to fatigue (repeated hard pushes will do the job on these). The switch is tiny and impossible to resolder. A new remote is only solution. Check ebay for used remote keys.

good luck
