changed right door actuator, leash plastic broke when snapping it in
Hello,
so the right door actuator broke down so I ordered the part online and arranged a deal with a mechanic that he will swap the actuator for me and that he will drop the price significantly for me if I undo the door myself.
I have taken the door down, however, when putting it back on, I tried to snap in the leash that connects to the inside door handle to open the door from the inside.
The little plastic piece, which I was trying to snap in (I wasn't sure where, I assumed it was the metal piece that I pointed the green arrow to). It was very difficult for it to snap in, so I used a little more force and the plastic broke.
Now I have no idea what I can do to make the door handle work.
I am really hoping I will not have to change the whole metal leash.
Please help.
Thanky you.

The clip doesn't look broken. It is the plastic bushing on the inner handle cable that's broken.
The inner handle cable list for less than $10 at Honda. You would rotate the clips off the ends of the cable to remove; one end of the cable attaches to the inner handle and other end to the latch.

yeah I already got the part (for $12 at honda) but I am having a hard time removing it from the other side (not the one that ends by the handle)..
do I need to unscrew the three big bolts in the doorside?
I have no idea how to get it out
thanks
