Chk engine light
hey guys i got a 94 accord ex with the check engine light on i jumped the blue harness and turned on my ignition to start..... 8 short flashes pause then 2 long flashes pause and then 1 short flash. after this it takes a long pause and starts all over again. so im reading 29 but i cant find no codes with that number. can anybody help me find out wat it is. my car is manual transmission and is running fine. thanks

The TDC is part of the distributor. You can test the resistance on that sensor to see if it has gone bad. You can also inspect the wiring.
You would likely have to replace the distributor if the sensor is bad. Its a pretty easy DIY.
The vtec spool solenoid is on the cylinder head. You should test the resistance as stated in the shop manual.
