Default Cigarette Lighter Problems

Hello all

A dime accidently fell in my cigarette lighter and now my radar detector doesnt work. I would imagine it shorted the power. Anyone has any insight as to how to fix this. I drive a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check the No. 9 (15A) and No.32 (7.5A) fuses in the driver's side under-dash fuse/relay box.

If the fuses are okay, it could the power socket relay (also located in the under-dash fuse/relay box) or open in the wire.

also check to see if the fuse in the radar power line didn't blow..also try and plug something else into the socket and see if it works. If not then you know it's in the car.

Using the 07 Pilot as a ref-pluged in a bad power converter to the rear socket and guess what- there is also an under hood fuse to those/that sockets. Left/drivers side underhood. Again using the 07 Pilot as a ref....
