Default Cleaning EGR Ports on 2.7 V-6

My friend has a 1995 Honda accord EX with 2.7 V6 engine. I have looked for some info on cleaning the egr ports on this motor but can't find it. I have found some info on the 4 cylinder and the newer v6's but no this one. Can someone please tell me how to do this please.

Thanks

Steve

You'll get better luck in the General Tech area, so I'll move this.

#5 and #6 are the EGR cover and gasket (i would suggest getting a new gasket).

The ports should be right on top of the manifold.

I've never worked on a V6.

I would guess that you will have to remove the plastic cover that has V6 24valve. There shouldn't be much between that cover and the EGR plate to remove.

Hey thanks for the help. I did remove the plastic cover and there it is. Had to take a few other bolts out from the power steering pump hose on top and the hold down bolt for the same hose. Took the EGR cover off and man what a mess. I cleaned some out tonight but will clean it good tomorrow for sure. Just want to say thanks again. I'll try and post some pic's tonight or tomorrow.
