Clock Bulb Replaced, Guages Don't Work Now...?
I jsut replaced the mini bulb in the digital clock in my 2000 LX coupe, and as soon as I reconnected the clock/hazard light assembly and turned on the car, the guages stopped working...completely. No tach, no speedo, no oil pressure, no mileage/trip display, etc...I have searched and found how to reset ECU but that didn't work, so if anyone has any idea please let me know! Thanks!

Suggest checking your fuses, both underhood and underdash. If they are all OK, check your work on the dash clock (wiring damage or wires pinched under a screw or bolt.
good luck

Thanks I will do that, I hope it is just a blown fuse, I didn't really mess with the wiring just unplugged and replugged...oh and the clock light still doesn't work either...thanks again

When things that should be unrelated, like windows, gauges & clock; when they screw up together, it's a good idea to check for loose/disconnected ground wires.

The black ones screwed onto the metal frames and the chassis. You'll find them everywhere, but check in the area you worked and near the fuse panel.

Sounds like a blown fuse to me.
I'm looking at the 95 shop manual and the number one fuse in the under dash fuse box controls the gauge assembly, clock light, etc and is a 10 amp fuse. The 2000 accord could definitely have a different setup since it is a new generation accord.

Well I checked the fuses and ground wires and everything, and I still can't seem to find the root of the problem...however I did notice in the fuse box on the interior driver side that there were 2 connectors just hanging freely; I have an aftermarket head unit though so this may be why, I'm not sure. Thanks for all your help, I think I will just take it to my friend who's a mechanic at a Honda dealership.

RE: Clock Bulb Replaced, Guages Don't Work Now...?
Ok, finally got around to checking all the fuses, as I noticed that my backup lights were no longer functioning as well as my needles and mileage reading/trip, and power windows. Sure enough, I rechecked fuse #9 on the driver side fuse box, and it was blown. As soon as I replaced the fuse, everything worked perfectly, even the clock light! So a word of advice: if you want to replace the clock bulb, make sure you cut the wires that extend off of it before putting it into the clock, as I believe when I did not do this it put too much power to the fuse and blew it. Another word of advice, if you are having this same problem, it is probably FUSE #9 IN THE DRIVER SIDE INTERIOR FUSE BOX. Thanks for your help
