Clunking when shifting

Clunking when shifting
My 97 lx clunks when I shift gears. I'm pretty sure its not the clutch. The sequence is as follows when I methodically push in the clutch, take out of 1st gear(clunk), put into 2nd gear(clunk), let off clutch. It does this with every gear change it just becomes harder to hear at higher gears/speeds. Also, when I'm rolling in first gear, after letting off the gas and the rpm's get low as the car starts to come to a stop, a big clunking sound comes from the transmission with every bounce of the car forward and back. Not sure if this is related to the first issue. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Cleaned IACV
Cleaned TB

Noises are tough over the web.
There is an Ericthecarguy video on youtube covering suspension noises that you may want to watch. You can try hitting the tire on the tread with a hammer. Is there any movement in the radius rod bushings? End-links? Anti-sway bar bushings? Exhaust/heat shield?

A dragging clutch can cause shift problems and possibly a clunk on disengagement of gear.
Does upshift to next gear present some difficulties? Try double-clutching; clutch, shift to neutral, release clutch, rev engine, clutch in, upshift. If this eases gear upshift entry it indicates the clutch is not fully disengaging.
good luck
