Um... its black... i wish I had a picture. Basically, find the place where the upper coolant hose goes, look down at the transmission, it's literally right below it, but difficult to access. I'd take it back to the shop and say "Hey, my car hits the rev limiter now and I have good reason to believe it's the VSS. Since it didn't do it before, you should clean it for free."

Ok, So I went out to my car and looked around the area that you describe and the was this little clip. I thought to myself this cant be it, too easy. But sure enough I pressed it down a lil and......CLICK. I doubted that I had done anything other than click a loose cable for something that had no relevance to what I was trying to do. I jumped in and hit it down the street. 2000>3000>4000>5000>5500 no problem. Much thanks friend!

Haha. I must then... of course I took mine out instead of just reconnecting it.

It was actual not in a bad spot at all. I could reach right in the back of the engine bay and sneak my hand over to it.

It's been almost 2 weeks since I had my clutch fixed and its slipping again. Any thoughts. Sometimes it runs fine but the others it slips every gear. Once it starts doing it, it wont stop untill i cut the car off for a while the try driving again.

Update....Clutch is slippin not two weeks later. I turned it back into the shop. I did notice however that the rubber on the front motor mount was split all the way around the middle. I researched that that could have an affect on clutch performance. Any thoughts?

Have the shop replace the mount, then replace the clutch free of charge. They probably put in crap. I would pay the difference between what they put in and a Honda or Exedy Stage 1 clutch is.
