cold starting probs

if I turn the key off and back on again it will run for another two sec and stop

Can you check for codes in the ECU just to be sure there are not any.


Also, once you do get it started and running and to normal op temp - does the same thing happen if you shut the car off and try to re-start it.

Sorry for the extra questions - early and don't always have enough coffee yet

once it is running and comes up to temp it will restart without a prob and I will try to check the codes this evening .... whitch two pins do I need to connct ?

ok I pulled the codes on the car and they are 15, 3, 7

If the check engine light flashed these codes, then...

code 3 = MAP sensor
code 7 = throttle position sensor
code 15 = ignition output signal (ignitor)

The problems can be the sensors or the wiring.

What are the wire colors going to the map sensor? And the wire colors going to the throttle position sensor?

If the D4 light flashed some of the codes, then let us know, because those are a different set of codes.
