Considering a Honda Accord but have concerns
I maybe purchase a 2007 or newer Honda Accord. But have a couple of questions.
1. Are there issues with sunroof/moonroofs in Accords? I've always been of the thinking that they're just going to leak and are a waste. Curious to find out the truth.
2. I noticed the 2007 model doesn't have the audio aux input. What options are there? I don't mind paying for something that's well built to give me this. I have got to have some way to play the music on my iphone
thanks

I have never had a problem with a factory Honda sunroof. Only you can decide if it is worth it. I like to have the option but don’t use it. Your other question I can’t answer but with most cars you can’t just get a universal radio anymore as a replacement.

1 - I've never had a problem with a factory sunroof.
2 - Stereo places like www dot crutchfield dot com have iPod adapters you can install. That way it charges the iPod, and you don't have to remember to PAUSE the iPod when you turn off the car.

The sunroof in my wife's 95 Accord NEVER leaked. We traded it in a year ago. Never had to clean any drain holes either.
I wouldn't think the iPod adapter should be too hard to install. Crutchfield normally gives out installation instructions that are pretty straightforward.

^ yeah I wondered about the whole "dashboard dismantling" process. I used crutchfield's instructions about 10 or 11 years ago on a 90 Mustang (installing a head unit.) I did not have to disassemble the dash at all. But i know newer cars make it a lot more complicated to get the head unit out.

I did it on a 2003 Accord & it helped to know how the tricks of which panels to snap off in what order. I also had a Helm book for that car, which was more detailed than the Crutchfield instructions. Still, I could have done it with only the Crutchfield sheet.
Then a few years later I wanted to move the unit to a 2007 Civic. Crutchfield emailed me the corresponding instructions, even tho I didn't buy a new adapter at that time. Strangely, that one was easier, even though larger portions of the dashboard needed to be opened up.
