Constant relay clicking near glove box, wont start
2002 Accord SE, 4dr, 188K miles AT
I got to work and turned off the car and sat for a second with the car off and keys out. Suddenly I heard a clicking sound like a relay oscillating over by the glove box.
The car wont start but if If I put the key in and turn it to the run position the oscillating stops. With the key in the run position nothing works; electric windows locks, radio...
Also, with the key out and the brake pedal pressed the oscillations stop.
I am unable to get the transmission out of park in any combination of brake & key position.
I took the negative battery lead off for a few seconds and put it back on with no change in symptoms.
I have an after market remote start / alarm installed...
Has anyone ever heard of this problem before?

Battery may have a low charge. Could be either a bad battery or discharged battery due to alternator charging problem.
On certain trim levels for your model year Accord (such as EX, SE may be the same), there is a tail light relay on the passenger side. That may be the source of the clicking noise. However, the cause is probably due to what I stated previously.
