Converting Digital LCD odometer to Kilometer
Hi Guys,
I am moving to Canada and want to take my US Honda Accord 2001 with me. I understand that I have to convert the odometer to Kilometer after landing in Canada. Want to how difficult is that. I think it should not be hard as it has DIGITAL LDC ODOMETER and there must be some kind of switch or code to be changed, to display the current mileage reading to Kilometer.
Any ideas?. And how much it should cost approximately?
Speedometer has both Mile and Kilometer scale, so I am OK with speedometer.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Converting Digital LCD odometer to Kilometer
why do you need to convert?? is it a law up in canada?? here in the states i see some cars with odometer in Kms .........no big deal.. use a calculator to figure out miles to ms and vice versa
now if it is a law ,, it is a different story .....but if not ,, why worry about it it ??
just tought of something........in your car , in ther owners manual, does it tell you how to change from miles to kiloms ??
i tought that there was the option to do so
if not you might have to replace the speedo assembly with a canadian unit , but again only if mandated by law which i do not understand why they would
