Default Coolant Flush Needed After Timing Belt Repair??

Well, after 155K on my 97 Accord SE, I finally got the timing belt changed. The mechanic said it was actually in very good shape, but it was good to do it. He installed the kit with the water pump and belts and all that other jazz. When I got it back I was going to flush the coolant out, but he said he basically did this when he took the water pump apart and did this timing belt job. Do you think I should go ahead and do this or is he correct in that it was already basically done with this recent repair?

Thanks for any replies!

Check the bill and see if they charged you for new coolant (I'd be surprised if they didn't). If so, don't worry about it.

when the water pump gets replaced most of the coolant gets drained out.. so new coolant will always be added
