Coolant hoses to carb.
I damaged one of the coolant hoses that go to the carb. on my '85 Accord w/auto. I'll probablly splice a piece in, but how the heck would you change it anyway, I can barely see the engine side. Also can you find these hoses anywhere? Our local dealer sez no.
I am about ready to put my rebuilt carb back in, and am also replacing some worn vacuum hoses....there are more than I've ever seen on a car!![:-]

RE: Coolant hoses to carb.
The 80's cars got covered up w/ vacuum hoses before throttle body FI put them out of their misery.
I would try to find some OEM hose. I've found aftermarket rubber just doesn't meet Honda's standards of performance. I replaced some vacuum lines w/ auto parts stock material and it lasted < 2 yrs and was so brittle you could break w/ a fiinger. Honda material is still pliable after 15 yrs of service. Even used rubber of a salvage car is probably better than aftermarket product.
I can't believe the dealer doesn't have a part number for the hose you need. Check another perhaps online Honda OEM supplier such as Majestic Honda.
good luck
