ok, you will need to buy a new radiator temp switch, napa autoparts was the only store that knew the part i was looking for, the two switches look the same attached to the car, but the connector on the switches themselves are color coded, make sure the color matches! the switch was $25, and required a large socket w/ a 1/2" wrench unfortunatly i cannot remember the size. very straight forward, take the old out and new in, if your car has a coolant bleeder, bleed the system to get air out. 10 minutes tops for whole job. when its done, start car and let idle 10-15 mins depending on air temp, mine took more time to kick in cause it was cool out im guessing, but the fans shoul kick on

Thanks again!

my cars a bit newer so i am unsure of the location for yours, poorman can prob. tell you, but its just like the brake bleeders, 8-10mm bolt with a hose nipple and hole on top, its located about 2-4" behind the switch looking at it from the passenger tire on my car. loosen the bolt with car running, and tighten once a steady stream of coolant is coming out, then your done, according to poorman both fans should run, mine doesnt run because its shot and the bolt wont come off to replace fan

autozone has it online but when i went to the store they looked at me like i had two heads, insisting it was the temp sensor i needed, same with advance, pepboys, and carquest, if you go to autozone make sure you write down the part number and yes thats what you need
