Default Corrosion on negative battery terminal

My accords battery negative terminal have always corrosion on it ( white powdery stuff.). I cleaned the terminal with contact cleaner and put some die-electric grease on it but still it does it. Is there any other chemical I can use to clean the terminal to protect the terminal Or need new battery. By the way battery is only 2 year old. Thanks for any suggestions.

some batteries have a poor seal where the terminal comes thru the battery case that allows corrosive vapor to escape around the terminal.
Try laying a thick coat of grease around the terminal where it comes out of the battery case.
