Default Cracked Window Assembly: REVISISTED

QUICK UPDATE

I recently successfully replaced my drivers side window regulator a few months ago. Everything has been great. Until a week or so ago. the window will go down, but it doesn't like to go up easily. I will start to go up and then stop. I then have to bring it down an inch and then go up, and it goes. Up and down the whole way up. I took the side panel off and tried to look inside but found nothing. It doesn't look like anything is tangles or in the way. I really don't want to have to take the entire regulator out again. When it try to go up i hear it crunching here and there.

What's going on? Sir_Nasty? anyone?

thanks

Default RE: Cracked Window Assembly: REVISISTED

the most common reason for problems like that is the track that the window runs in (in the back) I'd start by rolling the window all the way down, then take a rag and wipe inside the track (at the back of the door) with a towel and try to get it as clean as possible, then spray some silicone lubricant or WD-40 in the track and run the window up/down and spray some more in there, I'd do that about 2-3 times.... if that doesn't fix the problem then it could be that your rear track needs replaced (about $70.00 from a Honda dealership) either that or maybe your switch is getting funky but I doubt it...... I'll bet it's just hanging up a little, common problem...
