Default cv joint problem

I have a 92 and when I turn there is a clicking/grinding noise and sometimes clunking. Am pretty sure it is a cv joint but am not sure which one it is and am wondering if anyone can tell me how to figure out which side it is or if it could possably be something else. Any help is greatly appreciated.

typically it's based on the direction you're turning, for example if you turn left and hear the noise but not when you turn right I'd say it's the left one, however, the easiest way is just just find a parking lot and drive in a tight circle real slow, then stick your head out the window and listen

Find a friend & go to an empty parking lot. Have him stand while you drive tight circles around him (both directions). It'll be easier for him to pinpoint the location of the noise, because he's outside of the car.

forget that,

jack the car up and look at the joints. the one that is clicking will have 99.99999999% of the time a cracked boot and there will be grease all over the suspension parts

I checked all the joints and none have cracks but I found the clicking noise only happen when I turn right . Am starting to think it could be something else but have no idea what.

raise both frt wheels up , start the car have a friend on the outside by the wheel, put car in gear and foot a little on the brakes to have a drag, turn the wheels all the way one side or the other and accellerate ,, if it is a joint you will hear it,,,,

you can have a bad joint and the boot be ok i have seen it many many times, usually the damage happens from the time before when the boot was torn and there was no grease left in the joint ..
