"D" Light blinks

Go to Autozone, etc. to get the actual code.
Some Honda Accords, Odysseys, Pilots, and Acura had similar problem with the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switch. A lot of people replace both at the same time. See these various links. Note: The switch part numbers used on the Acura TL are different than your Accord.

For your car, it looks like the 4th gear pressure switch part number is 28600-RAY-03, Honda list price $47.18, internet discount price $34.21 and the washer/gasket is 90471-PW7-A0, list price $2.62, internet discount price $1.90. You may want to go to some Honda internet dealer site like Bernardi Honda Parts and enter your VIN for correct part numbers, their customer service reps. can also help out on the phone for questions (and no, I have no affiliation with Bernardi Honda; lol).

Just to let you know, I previously included the incorrect Honda part number for the 4th gear pressure switch and image. I corrected it above. You should check for correct part numbers with your VIN too, just in case.

I have a 2011 honda accord V6. and I had almost the same issue. The "D" light indicator starting blinking and the malfunction indicator came on. I turned the car off and the "D" light went off, but the Malfunction light stayed on. The next day, none of the lights came on. I took it to the dealer and it was the "3rd gear pressure" switch. Apparently it is a common problem with Honda V6 auto trannys. It is a simple to fix. Google and you will find all types of how to do it. The dealer charged me $90 to fix it. The funny thing about it, is that this happen after I got my ATF drained and filled by the dealer.
