I didn't pass Missouri state inspections because i have a bad right wheel bearing. This is garbage! Everything else on the car is fine other than this stupid part.

So, since the car needs a timing belt, water pump and Left axle shaft, im getting it ALL done. I bought the parts cheep and the labor is going to cost me $550.

What do you guys think? Once this stuff is done, i see myself driving this car for about 60k/3 years.

 

what kind of car is it? What's the mileage on it?? why not do it yourself?

 

its a 94 EX 4dr with 184K. I dont have a garage and/or the time (2 jobs and go to school for my 2nd masters).

 

keep clean oil and trans fluid if auto. and you can see 1/4 million miles no problem.
The labor costs you have posted if includes the wheel bearing don't seem out of line or excessive.
Hope the parts you bought aren't too cheap.
Consider replacement of all the seals and water pump when doing the T-belt job.

I think you should pay HondaDude some travel money and some of that labor charge and talk him into coming to your town and doing the job right...
