Distributir rotor too tight ?

Distributir rotor too tight ?
I had a leaking distributor seal - seemed like the o-ring but then the oil underneath seemed to pull up to the cap screw and the cap seal alose had oil.
To check if the inner seal was leaking I wanted to open the rotor and shaft (as mentioned in a couple of other posts in this forum). However, I found that the rotor screw did not budge and I do not want to damage the screw by trying just too much.
How can I get the rotor off.? It seems the last installation (by dealer) was done using a air screw driver.
I changed the cap seal and o-ring and will check again in the morning if there is any further oil leaking.
I also have one more question - I had gotten the engine steam cleaned to clean up the oil and grime and I think it may have cleaned out the lubrication as well .. so after that what all do I need to lubricate? I did the hood latch and the cruise cable spring on the end using the white lithium grease. But then I could not find any information in Haynes manual or this website or elsewhere.
This is a very good site and I got a lot of useful information going thru several posts on distributor oil leak - this was my first diy on this car.
Thanks.
