Distributor oil seals

Distributor oil seals
Good day!
I have a 97 Accord SE, 2.2L non-vtech engine with 181K miles.
It looks like the distributor oil seal is leaking, due to oil residue being present under the distributor and down the side above the transmission.
Are these seals difficult to replace, and does the distributor has to fully removed to replace the seal?
Also should you do the internal seal too, as there is a tiny bit of oil inside the distributor cap.
Any help is appreciated!

Seal is an oring and requires removal of distributor to pull old and install new.
Internal seal leak is indicated by oil draining from the lower drain point in the distributor cap/body junction. This allows oil to run down the shaft and into the distributor cavity, to drain from vent.
good luck

Thanks for the info. I am going to change the lower shaft seal for sure.
Any special precautions to take when removing the distributor, other then marking the rotor position well and distributor body to ensure correct installation?
