DIY heated mirrors
Hey all,
I had 2 mirror heating elements (flexible self adhesive thingy's) lying around for my kitcar, but as I never drive that in bad weather I decided to put them in my 1997 accord,
Thing is I don't know how to get the mirror glasses out of the mirrir assembly's, some websites state that the glasses are put on using some kind of glue, but some acura sites state that the glasses are held in by 3 platic fingers and they will easilly pop out, and I found some info about 2 screw holes in the underside of the mirror assembly which hold the mirror in place.
so besic question is
"how do I get the mirror glasses out of both mirrors without braking the glas or ruining the stepper motor behind it"
on a 1997 honda accord 2.0 with electricly ajustablenon heated mirrors
and also some hint of the where-abouts of the rearwindow heating relay would be nice to have.
thanx in advance
best regards Thomas

RE: DIY heated mirrors
I don't know mirror removal off the top of my head.... I believed there were two screws on the underside that held the whole assembly together.... Follow this link and it will give you a free manual for your car....
