Door alignment issue
Hello,
I had posted a while back about water entering the cab but could never find the leak. The problem was the driver door is not properly aligned. I say this because I noticed the gap between the door and fender was not even. There was a wider gap at the top then at the bottom.
I played around with the strike U plate and the gap straightened out some and more importantly much less water entered the cab during long heavy rains. But water still gets in. Though the door works fine and closes fine after playing with the strike plate.
If I open the driver door it has the tendency of closing. Compared to the passenger door that will stay open. What can I look for to isolate the problem and can the door alignment be a DIY project or not?
Thanks for the advise.

Get the download manual for 94-97 Accord from Online Manuals post in DIY forum. It explains how to adjust the door position w/ shims to align door gap. A new door seal may also be indicated.
